In our program you will find a wide range of workshop topics for all ages.

All NEAPFD workshops featuring live working animals (except teen and children workshops) will be held at the UMass Research Farm in South Deerfield.

All classroom-based Animal-Power workshops, all Children and Teen Animal-Power workshops, as well as Animal-Power exhibitors will be located at the UMass campus in Amherst.

There will also be farm tours of two nearby animal-powered farms.

BUS SERVICE

Free bus service will be provided to conference registrants between the UMass campus and the UMass Research Farm. On Sunday morning, free bus service will also be offered to the farm tour in Conway. Buses run on a tight schedule designed to make the workshops run on time as much as possible. If you are relying on bus service between sites, please look at the bus schedule well in advance as there is a small time window for travel between some workshop slots.

The bus schedule is printed on page 3 of the program addendum, here

The workshop schedule provides just 30 minutes between the end of one workshop and beginning of the next. Buses will be leaving each site at staggered times. This means that you will likely need to choose whether to leave a workshop slightly early or arrive at the next workshop slightly late.

Don't miss the bus!
