Donate to the 2011 Farming Education Fund/ Apply for Funds

The NOFA Conference attracts many young people (and sometimes old) who are passionate about organic farming but don't have strong financial means. You can have an important impact in someone's life by making a donation to the NOFA Summer Conference Farming Education Fund. The Fund allows participants to attend the conference at a very reduced rate. Each applicant must become a NOFA member in the state of their choice, a MOFGA member, or a member of DAPNet and is asked to pay a portion of the entrance fee when possible. These funds are used only to pay for registration costs and not for food or housing. Each recipient is also asked to donate a modest amount of time to helping out while at the conference. We believe that a modest investment by someone shows their dedication to making use of this opportunity. People often take away from the NOFA Summer Conference new directions in life. You can donate to FEF on the bottom of your registration form, or if you prefer, you can send a check made out to "NOFA Summer Conference" with the note. "for FEF" (Mail to: NOFA Summer Conference, 411 Sheldon Rd, Barre, MA 01005). Siedeh Rezaei-Kamalabad, Registration Co-Coordinator, will carefully review candidates for this scholarship and make the money spread as far as possible.

Thanks for your support,

Ben Grosscup
NOFA Summer Conference Coordinator
